It was a perfect day for bottling today, a bit fresh and crisp this morning, exactly how our new Ridgeback, a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Colombard, harvested in 2016, tastes.
It was our first bottling of Ridgeback since our beloved and muched missed Ridgeback Tanga passed away, but her son Rufus is now in control of supervising la mise en bouteille and he made sure we worked really hard whilst he was having a nap next to the bottling truck.
Please do visit the Domaine to taste our new Ridgeback and of course our other wines as well! On the evening of friday the 21st of July, Nick will be present at the Apéro des Vignerons de Gascogne in the centre of Eauze next to the Cathedral, where you can sample the lovely wines made by the Artisan winemakers in this region. You are most welcome between 18.00 and 21.00 to say hi and have a taste of all the goodness of Gascony!
